California And The Revival

Many of us have heard of the revival going on in Lakeland Florida, but have you heard about the restoration of the Church here in California.

With all the laws the government is passing against God and all the talk of separation of Church and State, and the ground we as Christians feel we are losing we must be reminded Paul has already revealed God’s position.

Col 1 NKJ

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell; 20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

We have seen the problems with the State budget, and that trickles down to the counties and cities. Yet these counties and cities have needs for gang intervention/prevention and to help the homeless (Mathew 25:40 NKJ) and care for the widows and orphans (James 1:27 NKJ) and help the reentry of many incarcerated people that will be released back into society (Phil 2 2-4 NKJ). We need training for disaster preparedness and volunteers to help in emergency. (Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning Luke 12:35 NIV) The Church is being asked to step up to the plate in all areas of need (Corinthians 12:14-26 NKJ), and not being asked to leave God out of the equation. Biblically we are back to the days of the apostles to walk through the cities and preach the Gospel by being the light of the world and the salt of the earth, in showing the Grace Mercy and Love that can only come through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are being asked to do marketplace ministry to fulfill the needs of the people.

Because of this Churches must come together In One Accord. Biblically we know what results from being in one accord. (Acts 2:1, Acts 2: 46-47)
